It is becoming a historical custom every time an important event happens to humanity. First, the causes are asked, then they are reviewed "The Simpsons to see if the Springfield cartoons had predicted it before. And the truth is that, in the case of the blackout, the yellow family had already faced a similar situation before.

In fact, in 'The Simpsons' there are two different blackouts. A scene from season 35 talks about a "great blackout" that almost destroyed everything. It is a story told by the future Lisa to her granddaughters. "It made us all have to write things by hand," says the protagonist. This episode is called 'What a Beautiful Mess', number seven.

He does this by pressing a red button and everything goes completely dark.

"Goodbye, Springfield, from the heart of hell, I stab you," says the character before pressing it. Two scenes that social media s have used to joke about the power of Matt Groening's famous series.
