While Jonathan Owens is hard at work training in Chicago ahead of the 2025/26 NFL season, Simone Biles has been spotted enjoying a joyful reunion with longtime friend and professional dancer, Sasha Farber.

Biles, widely known for her explosive power and athletic prowess on the gymnastics floor, proved she's just as ionate about her friends as she is with her extraordinary gymnastics career.

Dressed casually in a black crop top, loose maroon pants, and white sneakers, Simone exuded energy and joy. Sasha, in a white shirt with suspenders and black pants, matched her enthusiasm perfectly.

"We do this in most hotel lobbies @simonebiles," Barber posted online with laughing emojis, perfectly capturing the emotion of the moment.

The connection between Simone and Sasha runs deeper than their shared performances. Sasha was a pillar of for Simone during her challenging moments, including the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, underscoring the strength of their friendship beyond the dance floor.

Also adding to the fun, professional fencer Miles Chamley-Watson ed Biles and Barber, showcasing his smooth moves alongside them. The trio showed there are more similarities between their sports and dancing than one might initially expect.

Owens turns attention to 2025/26 NFL season

Owens, meanwhile, was not present as he's back in Chicago. The 29-year-old NFL safety was back in minicamps for the Bears as part of intense preparations ahead of the 2025/26 season at Soldier Field.

Armed with Caleb Williams, a highly-rated quarterback entering his second professional season, the team are gunning to get into the mix with the Detroit Lions, Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers in the NFC North.

They have actually managed to snag Ben Johnson from the Lions, the man behind their ruthless offense from 2022-24. Using Jared Goff,Jahmyr Gibbs, Sam LaPorta and Amon-Ra St. Brown, the team scored 564 points and won the NFC North with a 15-2 record for the first ever time in 2024/25.
