Elsa Pataky is 48 years old (18/7/1976) and the Spanish actress works hard to keep her body in shape. However, she is now approaching 50 and in an interview with Australia's 'Body and Soul' she explained what she is experiencing with her body as well as explaining what needs to be done to keep it in full shape.

Pataky argues that weight training and yoga should be combined to stay toned, especially as you get older and your body starts to show changes. "Weight training and yoga really works with my body. I train with weights and the more I learn, the less afraid I am to lift them. I use more and more weight and less repetitions to build muscle", she explains.

And he focuses on the keys to the work he has to do. "Stretching is fundamental for the muscle. Yoga makes a big difference in my body."

Because, the actress herself points out that when you are about to enter the decade of the 50s that is "when you get older, everything starts to fall off. So the only way to keep it is the musculature. So don't panic; at first it will seem like you're putting on weight, but that will slowly change. Just hang in there."

That's why Elsa Pataky argues that doing yoga and other activities with stretching and flexibility can enhance and refine the figure. "In women, it's what helps you to get the shape, that beautiful figure," she said. "I can develop muscle, with weights, but yoga streamlines and lengthens it, and it's not so bulky."
