'House of the Dragon' promises excitement for its third season with an unexpected episode: "It's amazing"

There is still a year to go before the third season of 'House of the Dragon' is released, but viewers' eagerness for good news is growing by the month. For the moment, the third instalment is currently being filmed, although the protagonists already know what some details will be like. Ryan Condal, the show's showrunner, is excited.

"The exciting thing about the third season is that if the second was huge, the third is even bigger in many ways," one of those responsible for the fiction told Entertainment Weekly. It is worth ing that the series has already closed the additions of some performers for the new season to fulfill the promise of new characters.

Ryan Condal confirms that they are going to recreate "four main events from the book"

On the question of whether they will continue to reflect much of the book in the series, the showrunner has gone further and confirmed that "there are four major events from the book that we have been able to adapt and materialise this season". Most fans expect one of these to be the Battle of the Gullet, one of the bloodiest in George R.R. Martin's book.

Even so, these main elements are not what Ryan Condal is most interested in. For him, the most important thing about this season is a conceptual episode, written by Sara Hess, which is intended to open up a new range of possibilities in a universe whose mold is usually similar.

"It's incredible. I say it's a conceptual episode because it's not what you would expect from the traditional structure of an episode of 'House of the Dragon'. It's very character-driven and I think it's great," Condal argues about this episode. It will be more than a year before we find out. First, it will be the turn of 'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight'. Then, the third installment of the HBO Max fiction will arrive.
